It’s called “Made in Med” the event that is taking place in these days in Rome to bring together the community of Interreg Med 2014 – 2020 and present the first results of their work to project partners, policy makers and anyone who’s interested in development sustainable Mediterranean.
Among the projects also CONSUME-LESS and ARISTOIL, coordinated by Barbara Sarnari, vice-president of Svimed, and Emilia Arrabito, director of Svimed.
Organized by the Managing Authority, by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, which in 2018 holds the chairmanship of the Interreg MED Program, and by the Italian Agency for Territorial Cohesion, the event focuses on the values of co-working, sharing of knowledge and innovation, and territorial cooperation.
The event was beginned by the first working session titled “Production area – showcasing projects & ideas“, in which Barbara Sarnari, vice-president Svimed, was invited to discuss the issues of climate change, the blue economy and inclusive growth and the contribution offered by the Interreg MED projects to successfully tackle these three major challenges.
The meeting will continue tomorrow with the session entitled “Thinking area – from project to public policies” focusing on the vision of Interreg MED and the post-2020 perspective.
In addition, you can visit the exhibition area called “Lab area: tasting & testing med“, where the 90 projects present – which are involving 870 participants, of which 208 are Italian – will be presented to the public through their objectives, the protagonists, the materials and the results of work.
