President of SVI.MED., he gained a lot of experience abroad in the engineering field (management of territorial water systems in Colorado, California and Israel). He then attended postgraduate specialisation courses in Milan at the Bocconi School of Business Management and at Certiquality. Immediately after graduating, he began working as a designer and project manager in the field of sanitary and environmental engineering, first as a freelancer and then as a senior partner in an associated company (SDP – Sustainable Development Projects, Ragusa) specialising in environmental engineering. Since 1994 he has been teaching as an expert for professional training courses in the engineering and environmental field.
He has acquired considerable experience in all areas related to the environment, quality, safety, management of facilities and water resources, development plans, design and execution of works.
He has been a freelancer since 1987, chairman of Svimed since 2003 and director of a group of service companies in Ragusa.
