The event, organized by the Lions Club Puglia in collaboration with SVI.MED and Apulia Region, will focus on some key words: oil, olive trees, energy, cultural heritage, widespread heritage, resource, sustainable development, humanized landscape, cultural landscape and will be divided into two different moments: the round table entitled “I am an olive tree. Plant beings and human beings. We are also the landscape “, with a final tasting area of olive oils, and an educational workshop for children from 4 to 10 years old.

Inside the Monastery of the Olivetans, location of the meeting, a corner will also be set up in which the Interreg Med Aristoil project will be presented.

During the event, the first results of the project will be presented and the olive oil companies whose olive oil was analyzed by the University of Athens, will be mentioned , since they obtained high levels of total polyphenols (above 250 mg / kg) .

Other olive oils companies can be registered to carry out the analyzes for the next milling period.
