The activities of the project CENSE are divided in two main workpackages:
WP1. Sharing Lab and Participative processes
The main events foreseen are designed to present to local citizens’ communities all the opportunities the European Union offers for sustainable growth and development. Special attention is given to intergenerational exchange during the events involving young people and schools.
The events are organized in thematic working groups , WG meetings, that will be implemented through the so called “sharing labs”, each one dealing with themes linked to Circular economy: Waste prevention, Reuse and green jobs, environmental management, Energy efficiency, Socioeconomic development and including a study visit to show partners best practices already adopted or planned.
The local forums are the preliminary steps for the implementation of WG meetings and are addressed to the involvement of stakeholders and the target groups of citizens representing civil society.
Stakeholders are involved through the participation to an “On-line Ideas Competition” to encourage citizens to contribute with their ideas on how to implement circular economy actions in their cities, quartiers, homes, schools. The best idea, evaluated by the partner of the project through a minute, is awarded with a trip for one person, to visit the city of Godeni during the last international event in Romania and to present the awarded idea to the final conference.
The thematic WG meetings will be organized by 5 partners in 5 different partner Countries. The aim of the WG meetings is to create a specific working group linked to a specific theme in order to give a contribute for developing or modifying the Local Action Plan of the towns that are in transition towards a sustainable model of growth at socio economic level and interested to apply the Circular Economy principles.
Working Groups meetings thematics are:

2. Reuse and Green Jobs (Vaxjo – Sweden)
